Australian original water-colour drawings and prints b.1818-d.1880 also known by his signature S.T.G., was and English-born Australian artist. Gill was born in Perriton, Somerset, England, the eldest of five children. His father, the Reverend Samuel Gill, became headmaster of a school at Plymouth, and the son was educated first at this school and then at Dr Seabrook's Academy, Plymouth. (October 13, 1822 - 1896) was a French painter. He was born in Nantes. He scored a success at the Paris Salon of 1884 with the painting Flight of King Gradlon. Another Luminais' important painting is The Sons of Clovis II.

Joan Mir?? i Ferr?? (April 20, 1893 ?C December 25, 1983; Catalan pronunciation: was a Catalan Spanish painter, sculptor, and ceramist born in Barcelona. Earning international acclaim, his work has been interpreted as Surrealism, a sandbox for the subconscious mind, a re-creation of the childlike, and a manifestation of Catalan pride. In numerous interviews dating from the 1930s onwards, Miro expressed contempt for conventional painting methods as a way of supporting bourgeois society, and famously declared an "assassination of painting" in favour of upsetting the visual elements of established painting.
Peder Als
Peder Als, a Danish historical and portrait painter, born at Copenhagen in 1725, studied for some time under C. G. Pile. After gaining the first great prize given by the academy at Copenhagen in 1755, he went to Rome and entered the school of Mengs. He occupied himself chiefly in copying the pictures of Raphael and Andrea del Sarto, which it is said that he did with great accuracy. He also copied Correggio and Titian. On his return to his own country he painted some good portraits; but his colouring was too sombre to give a pleasing effect to his pictures of females, and his work was frequently so laboured as to be deprived of all animation. Copies of the works of the old masters by Als are to be seen in Denmark. He died in 1775.
